Useful Items for Your Baby (Part 1)

Ok, we admit! We spent so much for worthless junk for our baby! It is a total waste of money!

Through these series of article, we want to share our experience about items that are quite useful for attending your baby from birth to 6 months old. Our hope, other family can avoid the same mistake we have, buying things for your baby base on trial and error.

Baby Carrier Pack

If you ask for our opinion, baby carrier pack is ‘a must’ since new born. You will still find it useful even your baby has grown in several months. It will not be useful anymore when your baby height or weight reach certain limit provided by manufacturer.

You can choose to position your baby facing inward or forward (new born must be facing inward!). We find an interesting insight about the way western and eastern people to position their baby in baby carriers. Westerners tend to position their baby facing forward, away from them, when transporting children in baby carriers. The thinking is that the baby should start to explore, to learn and to be self-reliant. For western people, the child’s ability to strike out alone and explore the world is synonymous with healthy growth and maturity.

In contrast with above, Easterners tend to position their baby facing inward, looking toward the parent, to be close to the parent. For eastern people, or Asian in most part, there is no need to have their children to be self-sufficient as early as possible. A long, close relation between parent and children symbolize wellness and harmony to the family.
